House Republicans were brought back down to earth with a bump after sharing a soaring tribute to Donald Trump that critics mocked as little more than “AI slop.”
The GOP’s official X account on Sunday reposted a video that the president had previously shared on his Truth Social platform.
“AMERICA IS BACK,” House Republicans declared.
“We’re so lucky to live in the most powerful nation in the history of the world,” the account added.
The dramatic clip appeared to show Air Force One cruising through the skies while surrounded by an escort of military aircraft.
But it quickly ran into turbulence in the comments.
Critics argued that Republicans should be focusing on issues such as the cost-of-living crisis and bringing an end to Trump’s war with Iran instead of sharing propaganda.
Some dismissed the video as “pathetic” and “AI slop.”
One commenter quipped that the imagery “hits different when our airforce is AI.”
