Walt Disney Co. CEO Josh D’Amaro, Sony Group Corp. president/CEO Hiroki Totoki and Liberty Media president/CEO Derek Chang are among new executives joining the Paley Center for Media’s board of trustees, while new names to the Paley Los Angeles Board of Governors include Imagine Entertainment co-founder and chairman Brian Grazer.
The new appointees were announced Thursday morning by Hearst executive vice chairman and former CEO Frank A. Bennack, Jr., who is chairman of The Paley Center for Media, and Paley Center president/CEO Maureen J. Reidy.
“The Paley Center’s Board of Trustees and Los Angeles Board of Governors has long brought together some of the most influential leaders across media, business, technology, gaming, and entertainment,” Bennack said in a statement. “The addition of these new members reflects the continued evolution of our Boards and strengthens the Paley Center’s ability to engage with the industries shaping the future of media.”
The full list of new Paley board of trustees, besides Chang, D’Amaro and Totoki, aso include
New York Private Bank and Trust co-chairman of the board Barry Friedberg; Spotify co-CEO and director Alex Norström; TikTok USDS Joint Venture CEO Adam Presser; Verizon CEO Dan Schulman; and Microsoft exec VP/XBOX CEO Asha Sharma.
