Monday saw billionaire Mark Cuban at the White House and standing on the stage with President Donald Trump, the same individual that he attempted to keep away from Washington, D.C.
An ex-star of “Shark Tank” and former Kamala Harris supporter, Cuban made an appearance with President Trump in the TrumpRx.gov rollout. TrumpRx.gov is meant to lower costs for 600 generic prescription drugs.
The initiative launches a partnership between the Trump administration and high-profile companies in the private-sector, which includes GoodRx, Amazon and Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs. The program also makes Trump and Cuban official business partners, which follows a history of political tension between the two. For most of the campaign, Cuban consistently hammered the economic policies of Trump while supporting Harris.
The appearance Monday was considered to be a jaw-dropper by many due to their heated past.
After a member of the media stated that it was “remarkable” to witness Trump and Cuban on the same stage, Trump rapidly took a swipe at his former rival.

“This is a SPECIAL partnership. 559 [of 600] of the new drugs are OURS!”
“Together, we’re gonna make something special.”

“Well, he made a mistake. It was a big mistake,” said Trump, which resulted in both Cuban and the crowd laughing.
Following the press conference, Cuban was asked by reporters regarding whether or not he had any regret in supporting Harris.
“I’m not going into my politics at all,” said Cuban in response, per Fox News.
Rather, the minority owner of the Dallas Mavericks branded the situation as an effort of bipartisanship to lower costs of healthcare.
“Democrats want cheaper medications, too. When all is said and done, the goal is the goal. How do we make medications and healthcare cheaper? That’s all I care about,” said Cuban.
After the media asked him another question regarding Trump, Cuban told people to not focus on politics, but instead the results.
“The way I always look at politics and any politician is, the only thing I care about is can they reduce the stress of the American people?” said Cuban. “This, TrumpRx and Cost Plus Drugs working together, is one step toward reducing your stress. To me, that’s the ultimate goal.”
