Famous actress Meg Ryan hasn’t been seen in public for a long time, and judging by the criticism she’s facing after an appearance in New York City on Wednesday, she’s not likely to venture out again anytime soon.
Ryan stepped out in support of her pal Michael J. Fox at a screening of his new documentary “STILL,” and posed for the cameras with him, putting their friendship on full display for the paparazzi. The public had lots to say about Ryan’s appearance, shamelessly trolling her for the work she appeared to have done on her face.

Ryan was once known for her beauty and her cute “girl-next-door” appearance. Fans expected her to age, but they didn’t expect her entire facial structure to seem altered. Ryan was barely recognizable, and trolls were quick to call her out.
“WTF has Meg Ryan done to her face?!” one confused fan said.
“Is that really Meg Ryan? If so that’s such a shame and incredibly sad,” another social media user said.

Other comments included “Lay off the filler!!!” and “Meg Ryan and Madonna should team up for a horror flick.” Another added, “Her and Madonna obviously have the same plastic surgeon.”
