Natalie Harp, Donald Trump’s 30-something aide who’s almost always by his side, “alarmed” the Secret Service with her adoring letters for the president during the 2024 campaign, according to The New York Times’ Jonathan Swan.

Swan — in a clip from a July interview with Zeteo’s Mehdi Hasan that’s making rounds again on social media — said the agency expressed concerns about someone “that close” to Trump writing him such letters, which, in at least one case, were left “in some of his private spaces.”

“They’re very unusual… They’re letters of absolute devotion,” said Swan, who initially reported on the existence of the letters with his Times colleague Maggie Haberman in 2024.

Among Harp’s reported messages to Trump? “You are all that matters to me,” “I don’t ever want to let you down,” and “I want to bring you joy.”

Swan said he’s found no evidence that Trump wrote letters back to Harp and, despite the raised eyebrows from the Secret Service, “nothing happened” with the agency.

“Because Trump was quite happy with it,” he added.

Swan chuckled when asked whether first lady Melania Trump was “happy with it,” noting that he didn’t want to speculate.

Harp’s relationship with the president has received renewed attention in the two months since the release of Swan and Haberman’s book “Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump.”

The letters, per Swan and Haberman, left future White House chief of staff Susie Wiles asking herself, “Where am I?”

The two reported that Trump used a mock French pronunciation to refer to Harp as “Nah-ta-lee” early in his second term, telling staffers that she “was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids.”

“All of you will go off and make money,” Trump told his staff, per the book. “She’ll never leave me.”

Harp, known in the president’s circle as the “human printer” due to the portable printer she follows him around with, was reportedly one of just three aides whom Trump brought with him on his decoy flight out of Turkey last month.

On Sunday, Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) went viral when he referred to Harp during a campaign rally speech, sparking the rage of White House communications director Steven Cheung.
