“The Only Way Is Essex” reality star Jake Hall died in Spain at the age of 35 after smashing into a glass door during a villa party in Santa Margalida.
Police responded to a call at approximately 7:30 am Wednesday and found Hall dead in a pool of blood with fatal head injuries reportedly caused by shards of glass after a night of partying, according to The Sun. Officers believe the 6ft 4inch star smashed his head through a glass door. “Witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting,” a source told The Sun.
“It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed.”
The individual said things “turned aggressive,” and told the outlet that Hall may have “tried to harm himself by banging his head against things.”

Neighbors reported “loud noises” that made the walls vibrate before police arrived on-scene. One neighbor told local media outlet Ultima Hora that the party goers “hadn’t been causing problems” and seemed “relatively normal,” but admitted he was concerned about how one of the group members looked, according to The Sun.
“I began to hear a very loud noise, as if they were drilling something. They stopped after about five minutes and then I fell asleep,” he told the outlet.

Police questioned four men and two women who were staying at the residence. The individuals said they had gone out in the evening and continued partying at the property in the early hours.
“We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door, but it is still too early to say definitely what happened,” a police source told The Sun.

The Spanish Civil Guard is leading the investigation into Hall’s death, and an autopsy is expected to take place in Mallorca’s capital, Palma.
Hall was a former model and fashion designer who rose to fame on “The Only Way Is Essex” in 2015. He shared a post on social media just before his death. Hall is survived by his young daughter.
