Mick Jagger is 82-years-old, but he’s definitely not slowing down. The legendary rocker is reportedly gearing up to star in “Three Incestuous Sisters” alongside Dakota Johnson, Josh O’Connor and Jessie Buckley.
Jagger arrived by helicopter on Stromboli, a volcanic island near Sicily, as Italian director Alice Rohrwacher’s adaptation of U.S. author Audrey Niffenegger’s novel of the same name is filming, an inside source told Variety. The movie will also feature Saoirse Ronan and Isabella Rossellini. Jagger was reportedly cast to play a lighthouse keeper. The Italian outlet La Sicilia also reported on the musician’s arrival.
The Rolling Stones frontman is reportedly believed to be residing in a villa on the island where Rossellini’s father, Roberto Rossellini, infamously started an affair with her mother Ingrid Bergman while filming the 1949 film “Stromboli.”
The new film centers around three sisters living in isolation whose lives are affected by the arrival of the lightkeeper’s son, according to Variety. Plot details have not been disclosed.
Jagger’s previous acting credits include rolls in “Performance,” “Freejack,” “Bent,” “The Man From Elysian Fields” and “The Burnt Orange Heresy.”
The famous singer remains active on social media and recently shared images of a trip to Egypt.

They’ve teased the album with the release of singles “In the Stars,” and “Rough and Twisted.” The album features The Cure frontman Robert Smith, Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood and drummer Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, according to Variety.
