The much anticipated Netflix MMA card headlined by Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey pulled in an estimated audience of roughly 12 million viewers.
The Netflix/Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) card drew an average minute audience (AMA) of 12.4 million Live+1 viewers globally, per VideoAmp, G&G Closed Circuit Events, and Netflix data. Viewership peaked with nearly 17 million viewers watching the Rousey vs. Carano fight.
Both Rousey and Carano, pioneers in women’s MMA, were coming back after long times away from the ring. Rousey had last competed in 2016 before she stepped in to fight Carano, while Carano left fighting for acting in 2009.
Along with Rousey vs. Carano — which saw Rousey defeat Carano with an armbar in just 17 seconds — the event saw “The King of Violence” Mike Perry defeat Nate Diaz by TKO, while Francis Ngannou knocked out Philipe Lins in the first round. In the U.S., those three fights alone averaged 9.3 million viewers, peaking at 11.6 million for Rousey vs. Carano.
The latest in Netflix’s live sports ambitions, the event did not perform as well viewership-wise compared to other Netflix outings. For example, Jake Paul’s crushing defeat at the hands of Anthony Joshua via knockout in December 2025 attracted an AMA of 33 million viewers. Likewise, Terence Crawford’s victory over Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez in September 2025 averaged 36.6 million viewers. The undisputed champ is still Paul vs. Mike Tyson, which drew an estimated AMA of 108 million viewers in 2024.
