“South Park” is on hiatus until later this month, but the show took to social media on Sunday to celebrate winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program ― and then offered a mocking message of thanks to someone who helped make it happen: President Donald Trump.
“You finally got your Emmy,” the show posted on X, along with an image of the “South Park” version of Trump holding the trophy he’s always wanted, but never earned:
Trump, who loves ― and hoards ― awards and trophies, has frequently complained about never winning for “The Apprentice.” He’s griped that he got “screwed” out of the honor, insisted he should have won “many times over,” and said the ceremony has “no credibility” because of his lack of success.
Now, that streak has come to an end … sort of … with a cartoon Trump holding the trophy for the “South Park” team for its season premiere episode, “Sermon on the ’Mount.”
The episode broke the show’s usual format in its final moments. Instead of the cartoon Trump, it featured a live-action Trump impersonator, tearing off his clothing as he wandered through the desert in a mock PSA.
“No matter how hot it gets, he’s not afraid to fight for America,” the narrator said. “With conviction, discipline, and trust in God, he survived the desert.”
Once his clothing was completely off, a very small penis with googly eyes appeared from the president’s crotch to declare: “I’m Donald J. Trump and I endorse this message.”
The narrator returned to add: “Trump. His penis is teeny tiny, but his love for us is large.”
Trump was central to the season that followed as he and Satan had a sexual affair that resulted in a demonic “butt baby” pregnancy, among other things.
The White House lashed out at “South Park” in response, calling it a “fourth-rate” show that “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years.”
South Park returns Sept. 16.
