Members of Donald Trump’s Cabinet have become infamous for their almost ritualistic displays of North Korea-esque devotion to their dear leader during meetings.
And on Sunday, they rushed one by one to X to post fawning messages in honor of the president on his 80th birthday.
Vice President JD Vance hailed Trump as “the GOAT,” meaning the greatest of all time.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote that “America is lucky to have a leader with such incredible courage, remarkable strength, an unmatched sense of humor, and an unparalleled love of country.”
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent claimed Trump’s “America First leadership is exactly what this moment demands.”
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared a cinematic-style video in which he hailed Trump as the best commander in chief and declared: “It is the honor of a lifetime to serve under you.” Watch on X.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said, “It is an honor” to serve Trump, too.
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum wrote that he is “grateful to work for the most hardworking, patriotic and courageous president of our lifetimes.”
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said Trump’s “legacy of unbreakable strength, courage, and America First resolve will stand as one of the greatest in our nation’s history.”
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said, “It has been the greatest privilege of my life to know and serve you in this historic administration.”
Acting Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling thanked Trump for his “unwavering commitment to America’s workers and job creators.”
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner claimed Trump “unapologetically loves America and fights every day for the betterment of her people.”
Reality TV personality-turned-Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy thanked Trump for “never backing down in the fight for America.”
Energy Secretary Chris Wright hailed Trump’s “boldness, dedication and leadership.”
Education Secretary Linda McMahon, whose department Trump wants to dismantle, thanked him for his “steadfast leadership and your commitment to delivering results for students, parents, and educators across America.”
And Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins said he was “grateful” to troop-taunting Trump for his “strong leadership and continued commitment to putting Veterans first!”
