Zayn Malik canceled all the upcoming U.S. dates on his concert tour amid a mysterious health battle.

The 33-year-old shared a message May 1 on his Instagram Stories, notifying fans of the change of plans and thanking them for their support amid his current health issues. Malik’s first U.S. show for his “Konnakol Tour” would have been July 19 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with additional appearances in the summer and fall, Deadline reported. His website still lists tours in the United Kingdom, Mexico and South America.

“Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well
wishes for my health,” Malik wrote to his fans and followers.

“I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world.”

The famous singer shared a shocking image of himself April 17 in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, the day of the release of his new album, “Konnakol.”

His most recent post included a hopeful update.

“I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before,” Malik wrote on Instagram

“I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want
to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can.”

“Thank you to the incredible hospital staff of Drs, nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who has helped along the way and continue to,” Malik wrote at the time, according to a screenshot.

The former One Direction star didn’t disclose further information about the reason for his hospitalization.

Fans continue to share messages of love and concern for the star on social media, along with well-wishes for a speedy recovery.
