A source close to the White House tells the Daily Caller that President Donald Trump may be planning to pull his “complete and total endorsement” of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb for Arizona representative after reports that the candidate has been engaged in extramarital affairs.

The source, an adviser who works closely with the White House on candidate endorsement decisions, told the Caller that Lamb’s endorsement might be pulled as the executive views an endorsement from the president as the “gold standard” and has taken great lengths to protect its worth. “So far, the only federal candidate who had the president’s endorsement and lost this cycle was Tony Gonzales following the revelations of his sexual abuse scandal, so they’re very sensitive to the same thing happening with Mark Lamb, who is facing similar accusations,” the adviser said. “They’ve pulled endorsements before, and they have a strong alternative candidate in the race, Daniel Keenan, who is closely aligned with the president and his agenda.”

“It’s definitely on the table,” the source concluded.

A bombshell report from The Arizona Republic on Wednesday shared allegations that the family-values-promoting congressional candidate and his wife had been engaged in “swinging,” in which partners engage in partner swapping and extramarital affairs.

Jillian Stannard, the former wife of an employee of the Lamb sheriff’s office, said her spouse had admitted that Lamb had facilitated a yearslong “sexual affair” between Stannard’s spouse and Lamb’s wife, Janel.

The Republic said Facebook chats and photos shared by Stannard appear to support these claims.

Stannard, along with other women who were critical of Lamb, took to social media in an attempt to air out dirty laundry and hold Lamb accountable.

Before her death in 2021, one of these women, Tammy Peacock, claimed that Lamb had threatened her after she said she would share communications documenting an alleged affair between herself and Lamb.

Following these posts, and the sharing of a video that Peacock claimed was a photo of her and Lamb having sex, Lamb had the office of former Pinal County Attorney Kent Volkmer “explore” criminal harassment charges against the women.

Volkmer told the Republic that although an informal investigation was held, no charges were brought, adding that a formal investigation would have been a conflict of interest.

However, they did determine that the man in the photo was not Lamb, but had not examined where the photo had come from, instead exploring Peacock’s criminal record and past abnormal behaviors.

Volkmer said that although he would not trust anything Peacock said, and that he wants to believe the allegations are fabricated, he cannot definitively say either way.

“I think I want it to be bullshit,” he told the Republic. “But I’m not going to tell you that it is bullshit. I don’t know.”

Messages appearing to have been sent between Peacock and Lamb showed descriptive and explicit texts, as well as revealing photos of each other and of the two engaging in sexual intercourse, the Republic reported.

“I would LOVE to see that video of you rubbing one out!” one message read.

Peacock was found dead in 2021, with a medical examiner reporting that her blood had tested positive for methamphetamines, according to the Republic.

Claims lodged by the women had also sparked an inquiry by Lamb’s church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Republic reported.

The endorsement was handed to Lamb in November, as Trump described Lamb as a “MAGA warrior” who would promote many of the policies that make up the president’s agenda.

“HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” Trump ended the endorsement.

The statement from Trump said that he was also a fan of former NFL kicker Jay Feely, who is also running for the seat, adding that he “would like to see him run in a different district, or for a different office.” (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Trump Admin Closes Long-Awaited Loophole That Could Throw Wrench In Immigrants’ Plans)

The White House and Mark Lamb’s campaign team have not responded to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.
