Tyler Boebert, son of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), is facing several felony charges, including three charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The charges were first reported Monday by American Muckrakers and The Denver Gazette.
According to court records, the 21-year-old allegedly committed the offenses in 2024 but was not arrested until last week. He was released on a $10,000 bond and will next appear in court in Colorado on Aug. 19.
Court records allege that Tyler Boebert, who was 18 at the time, filmed and participated in a sexually explicit video involving a 17-year-old girl.
The charges stemmed from a large-scale investigation targeting social media accounts circulating sexually explicit videos.

Lauren Boebert, who is seeking reelection in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, told JS she loves her son and is taking the allegations “very seriously.”
Boebert has been a fierce critic of the LGBTQ+ community, baselessly claiming that drag queens sexualize children and previously equated “grooming” to advocating for minors to have the option of receiving gender-affirming care.
Tyler Boebert flipped his father’s SUV in 2022, causing a passenger to be hospitalized. He was later arrested in 2024 on 22 criminal charges after a string of robberies and trespass incidents unfolded in Rifle, Colorado. He pleaded guilty to some of those charges.
In 2025, he was charged with misdemeanor child abuse after his toddler son wandered away from his mother’s home in Windsor, Colorado.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 4 and 10 for sentencing hearings in the two previous cases brought against him.
