Putting in an order for a Texas Rangers hat now.
Fans who attend Major League Baseball games throughout the month of June could potentially see celebrations centered around LGBTQ+ pride. The Texas Rangers, on the other hand, didn’t get the memo, and it’s a beautiful thing to witness.
In all of MLB, the Rangers are the only franchise that hasn’t held a Pride Night, which is usually held by teams every June (Pride Month) to celebrate the rainbow community. But Texas, they aren’t playing that game, and here in 2026, things are carrying on as normal as the franchise does not have a Pride Night scheduled. And God bless ’em for it. Rather, the organization has a community night scheduled called “Faith and Family Night,” and it takes place Thursday, June 18. The Rangers square off against the Minnesota Twins in that game. Other community night festivities that Texas has slated are for the military, first responders, healthcare workers and mental health awareness, all taking place in this apparent “Pride Month.”
