Donald Trump took yet another swipe at his first predecessor, former President Barack Obama, when he shared what appeared to be an AI-generated image that mocked Obama’s presidential library as a dumpster surrounded by tents and homeless encampments.
Trump posted the picture on his Truth Social platform this weekend.
It depicted the building as a trash container with a black garbage bag sticking out of the top.
“The Barack Hussein Obama Library, in 10 years, when fully matured!” Trump captioned the post.
It was the latest in a series of jabs that Trump has directed at the project, which is scheduled to open on Chicago’s South Side on June 19.
Trump last week shared another meme depicting the Obama Presidential Center as a trash can with a garbage bag sticking out.
The president last year called it a “disaster” as its estimated cost climbed from an initial $350 million to around $830 million, and claimed he could have built it better.
