Chicago, are you gonna let this man violate your team like this?
Brandon Johnson, the Democratic mayor of Chicago, isn’t trying to wait hours to get back home after attending a Bears game at Soldier Field.
Johnson is currently in a fight to get the Bears to remain in Chicago, however, it’s also quite obvious that he’d like to switch up the traffic situation regarding the Bears’ stadium.
Speaking in an interview with Chicago sports radio station 104.3 The Score, it was admitted by Johnson that he left a game early so he could get ahead of the traffic. (RELATED: Rob Gronkowski Handles His Money Exactly How You Should When You Land A Big Bag)
“Getting in and out of Soldier Field is an absolute nightmare. Let me tell you how bad it is. Bears vs. [Green Bay] Packers; I’m at the game, we’re losing. I decide to leave to beat the traffic,” said Johnson.
It’s not clear what Bears-Packers game that Johnson is referring to, however, if he’s talking about the latest, he’s most likely regretting it.
“Before I get out of the footprint, the Bears had come back to win,” said Johnson.
Chicago pulled off a comeback in the Wild Card round against Green Bay last postseason, earning the largest win the organization has gotten since they made the Super Bowl in 2006.
