The Democrat Party has gone so far off the deep end into radical Marxism that even their own strategists are running for the exits!
“Ragin’ Cajun” James Carville, the architect of Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign and a long-time Clinton lackey, just admitted on national television that he could become a REPUBLICAN under one condition.
During an interview with Fox News Digital, Carville was presented with a hypothetical scenario: What if the Republican Party adopted the policies associated with former President Bill Clinton’s 1990s agenda while Democrats went all-in on socialism?
Carville initially dismissed the possibility as pure fantasy.
“That’s a fantasy, OK, but, yeah, hypothetically, if I — hypothetically I could fly to the moon — it’s about the same chance that that happens,” Carville said.
Then came the admission.
“Well, if the Democrats went crazy and the Republicans went sane, then I probably would be a Republican,” Carville said.
But Carville quickly made clear that he believes Republicans — not the increasingly socialist wing of his own party — are the ones unlikely to change course.
“But I don’t see any evidence that there’s any possibility that the latter could happen,” he added.
Carville went on to predict that Democrats will ultimately pull themselves back toward the political center.
“I think it’s more likely than not that the Democrats embrace sanity,” Carville said, adding that Democratic primary voters will ultimately determine the party’s direction.
This comes just days after Carville publicly threatened to abandon the Democratic Party altogether if far-left streamer and open socialist Hasan Piker becomes a major force inside it.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Carville declared on Fox News, “I am not going to be in the same party with Hasan Piker… If he becomes a force in a Democratic Party, I’m out of here.”
Carville has spent recent months in full meltdown mode over the rising influence of democratic socialists who keep winning Democratic primaries. He has called for a formal “schism” in the party, blasted DSA-backed candidates as “so f***ing stupid,” and said he wants nothing to do with politicians who deny Israel’s right to exist or push radical policies on crime and culture.
Yet even as the socialist wing gains ground, with polls showing roughly one in three Democratic voters now identifying as democratic socialists, Carville clings to the hope that “sanity” will somehow prevail through primary voters.
The irony is thick. The same Democratic Party that Carville helped reshape in the Clinton era has moved so far left that the strategist who once coined “It’s the economy, stupid” now has to entertain the idea of bolting to the Republicans if the inmates fully take over the asylum. And still he insists Republicans are the ones who could never “go sane.”
Carville is 81. The party he helped build no longer looks like the one he remembers. Primary voters keep rewarding the radicals. And every time he draws a new red line, Hasan Piker, the DSA, socialist congressional candidates, the left simply ignores it and keeps winning.
